Animated Product Video Ad
Truly Engaging is an innovative design and printing company focused on high-quality and affordable cards and invitations. With their Christmas card campaign quickly approaching, the Truly Engaging team wanted to incorporate multi-channel video marketing to drive website traffic and card sales. This called for a fresh approach that highlighted their beautiful card designs, while still focusing on their major selling points - free foil textures and free shipping on every order. With only 12 days to go from concept to completion, Truly Engaging partnered with the team at Charter & Co on an animated ad set.
The ultimate goal of the video ads was to achieve a high click through rate to drive new website traffic, and ultimately, a high volume of card orders. With the ad appearing on Youtube, TikTok and Instagram, the ads needed to be visually striking and quick to communicate the Truly Engaging brand. Charter & Co took a modular approach to the video, creating segments that highlighted the card details, limited time offers, and the wide variety of designs. Since we built the longer 30 second ad in sections, it was easy to focus each shorter ad on specific segments. This helped maximize the value of shorter ads when they were placed on social networks. Five video ads were turned around, start to finish, in just twelve days - ready for the Truly Engaging’s campaign launch.
“Our vision was one-dimensional. What Charter & Co brought was three-dimensional in thought and execution.”
Truly Engaging is making beautifully crafted card designs accessible for everyone. Their in-house designers and efficient printing process is disrupting the industry, where sending Christmas cards is generally out of reach for many people. This ad highlights puts the product front and center in a lighthearted, festive approach.
“The video that Charter & Co provided Truly Engaging with was well beyond anything we expected, or quite honestly, could have dreamt up. It was fun, engaging and excellent.”
